Here at The Juneau Home, it is important to think about and save for the future; even though Colden has only just turned 4, it is really important that when he is ready for post-secondary that he doesn't have to struggle or take out loans when he is starting to build for his future. It is predicted that in 2034 (My 4 year-old will be 22!) tuition for a 4-year University degree will cost $87,000.00! Starting to save earlier rather than later is in the best interest for our family, our future, (and my sanity)!
But it's easy to feel overwhelmed when presented with financial terms such as RESP (Registered Education Savings Plan), CESG (Canada Education Savings Grant), tax-deferred growth, Canada Learning Bond, etc......
The list could go on, and on
Thankfully there are experts for that!
If you are like me and are not exactly financially literate or just do not know where to start, Parent Life Network and Canada Scholarship Trust have the experts on hand to answer any of the questions I or YOU may have! On Thursday, May 5, PLN and CST will be hosting a twitter party to answer your RESP questions and MORE!
