Hi! I’m Jamie. The girl behind this sweet online home.

I am a dance teacher turned stay-at-home momma.

I adore holidays, historical fiction and the colour burgundy. Celine Dion is my homegirl, and being able to spend all day in my pyjamas-- just might be my love language!

I live in a small Alberta town with my jack-of-all-trades, handyman, husband. He is always coming to my rescue and will always be my hero for one small thing or another!

We had always dreamed of a family of our own and in 2012

we had a beautiful baby boy; our Colden. 

He loves Superheros, LEGO, YouTube, and all things Disney -- especially Mickey Mouse, The Lion Guard and Peter Pan.

He is the sweetest blessing and makes everyday an adventure!

We recently purchased our first home and are enjoying decorating and making our tiny, small-town house into a cozy home. I'm passionate about bringing the pretty into our home and am always dreaming up the next Grit & Grace DIY that I can persuasively convince my husband to collaborate and create with me. 

Our Table is our place to share our favorite family recipes. I love quick & easy, kid-friendly meals and desserts. I’m particularly partial to anything that includes fruit and chocolate!
