Our Table // Chocolate Chip Cookies


The ONLY chocolate chip recipe you will ever n e e d! These cookies are seriously the best, thick, chewy and buttery every time, this is one of the best recipes that yields perfect cookies all the time! And as an added bonus the recipe is super easy + straightforward!

Ready to go into the oven!

PRO TIP #1: For uniform cookie texture & consistency, ensure your butter is room temperature (not melted or frozen)

PRO TIP #2: To avoid flat cookies, chill dough -- a warm dough will tend to flatten and spread out. Simply put the prepared dough in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. 


1 ½ cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ cup butter, softened (room temp)
½ cup firmly packed brown sugar
6 tbs granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 ½ cups chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment paper. In medium bowl, sift flour, baking soda, and salt together. In mixer beat together butter, sugars on medium speed until smooth and mixed well. Add the egg and vanilla. Gradually add the flour mixture and mix until combined (be careful not to overmix!). Stir in chocolate chips. Chill dough. Using a tablespoon, drop cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheets. Bake cookies 9-11 minutes until golden brown.
